We are seeking to appoint motivated people to work as part of our food service team. These posts involve the operation of cafés, restaurants and hospitality venues based on the University campuses. Previous catering not necessary, just an excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude.

We have a great vacancy for a chef who has flair and passion for cooking. The role will work on our Whiteknights Campus and the chef would have the opportunity to move around the campus to various kitchens within the business. In this chef’s role you will have the chance to put your ideas towards the menu development, which we like to change seasonally.

The post will involve teaching, supervision, marking and contribution to the development of the programmes.
The post holder may also input onto other programmes as appropriate. The post can be taken up as a secondment or University contract and is fixed term for two years. The post holder will join a supportive and enthusiastic team working in a research active School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences. This role offers a wide range of opportunities to develop your career and to work at the cutting edge of linking theory, research, teaching and clinical practice.

The post can be applied for as full-time or part-time, with a minimum fte of 0.4 (two days). The team maintain 3 campuses and numerous satellite sites ensuring the agreed SLA’s are met in an efficient and timely manner. The team manage a range of amenity plantings, sport facilities and habitats. We require motivated gardeners who can work in the busy campus environment at a high standard.
