Are you motivated by working with others to improve the design and delivery of institutional change and looking for a strategic role with institution-wide engagement and impact?
We are looking for an effective and experienced leader to establish and maintain a proactive, strategic and well-managed approach to change management and continuous improvement across the University in support of institutional priorities of operational efficiency, staff wellbeing and student satisfaction. Based in the Strategic Change and Projects team in the Planning & Strategy Office, but working in close collaboration with leaders and colleagues in the professional services and academic schools, you will play a major role in developing our institutional culture by embedding a positive approach to change and improving the management and implementation of change across the organisation.
You will have:
• Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of change management and continuous improvement, together with experience of managing change effectively in a complex environment
• Highly developed skills of consultation, collaboration, negotiation and influence, and proven effectiveness in working in partnership with colleagues at all levels
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to bring order to complex situations and maintain focus on the institutional objectives of change
• Confidence to present and defend complex or unfamiliar concepts with confidence to colleagues at all levels
