We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to run a café serving quality specialty drinks and café style food and snacks. You will handcraft delicious beverages, and build relationships with our customers, getting to know their favourite drink and snacks.
The job will require you to run shifts, lead the store team and make decisions that impact store operations. You will help create great experiences for customers and employees alike. You will support the manager of the business, building schedules, leading a team and nurturing talent.
You will run the store as if it was your own – from supervising daily operations to taking responsibility for financial results. This role focuses on front line service, connecting with customers and other service partners. The role provides the opportunity to develop yourself, your own team, and the café.
The café is a 7 day a week operation and you may occasionally be required to work weekends and occasional evenings. This may include solving issues over the phone during these times.
We will review applications as they are submitted and reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we have found our candidate. So, do not wait until the last minute to apply!
You will have:
• Certification of Basic Food Safety or higher
• Knowledge of retail coffee environments
• Ability to cope with varying workloads whilst remaining calm and focused
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent Customer Service focus
