The Department of Classics at the University of Reading seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Classics who will develop innovative research and teaching with the goal of diversifying our curriculum. This is a permanent post, for which specialisms in Latin and Roman History are also desirable. The post will involve teaching, research, administration, impact and outreach.
The Department is a vibrant and exciting place to work, with research and teaching strengths in new areas of focus for Classics as well as traditional dimensions of the discipline. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related area, commitment to diversity, a track record of research commensurate with experience, and teaching strengths in Latin and core modules.
