Henley Business School is a globally ranked, internationally renowned business school and part of the University of Reading. Due to the success of our Executive Education business and our strategic growth into new markets and areas of technical focus, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Director.

Business Development Director Overview

A key player within the business school , you will work with Faculty, Programme Directors and Programme Administrators to develop existing accounts and win new business, ensuring that all the  learning and development solutions we propose meet or exceed client requirements and expectation to maintain the reputation of Henley Business School and provide a healthy revenue stream for the School.

If you have experience in helping organisations to improve performance through learning and behaviour change, then this opportunity would suit an applicant with a proven track record of developing and winning business in the learning, talent and leadership development space.

Business Development Director requirements:

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A broad understanding of the talent development or leadership development marketplace
  • A proven track record of developing solution sales using a consultative approach
  • Extensive bid experience including solution design
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • An interest in, or experience of, people development and behaviour change
