The Erasmus & Study Abroad Office (ESAO) is seeking an experienced, well-organised and efficient administrator to help ensure the successful operation of student and staff mobility and partnership activities. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a busy administrative support team within the International Study and Language Institute.

The University offers a wide range of Study Abroad opportunities across the world and the ESAO office has oversight of all student and staff mobility activities both outgoing and incoming. The role is focused on administrative and support tasks with a key focus on delivering excellent levels of service and support. There will be some face-to-face interaction with students and involvement with the organisation of student welcome and social events.

The ESAO is a busy office so candidates should have demonstrable experience of working in a busy office, managing multiple priorities and a proven ability to work to deadlines.

You will have:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience of using databases and Management Information Systems
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to provide a high standard of customer service
  • Pro-active attitude with an ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience of working in a busy University student and academic environment with knowledge of academic procedures and processes
