An exciting opportunity for a temporary Associate Lecturer (up to 11 month maternity cover) at the internationally renowned Hugh Sinclair Unit in Human Nutrition.

We seek a talented, motivated nutritional scientist for a teaching post in a dynamic and highly regarded Food & Nutritional Sciences department. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery and administration of BSc and MSc nutrition degree programmes including module co-ordination, lectures, laboratory practicals, and assessment and exam marking.

The role is available on a full-time basis but part-time appointments will be considered.

You will have:

  • PhD in nutrition or related biological science
  • Experience of teaching nutrition and related subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Experience of student supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility
