Do you want to broaden your experience? The Campus Jobs Deputy Manager secondment or fixed term post is an opportunity to work in the fast-paced, student orientated and highly successful Campus Jobs Service. 

Each year we recruit over 2,000 students to work in 4,000+ assignments and pay out in excess of £2 million. We work closely with colleagues from across the university to deploy our student workers, including in flagship university activities such as Open Days, Welcome Week, Exams and Graduation. We are part of the broader Human Resources Function, the Deputy Manager therefore has significant exposure to the HR Advisory, Operations, Payroll, Pensions, People Development and Systems Teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Outstanding organisational skills.
  • A track record of excellent customer service.
  • Proven administrative and coordination experience.  
  • Experience of harnessing IT platforms to aid them in their work.
  • Built effective working relationships wherever they have worked.
  • Communication skills that combine tact, diplomacy, and if appropriate, assertiveness.
