We are looking to appoint a part time Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to provide assessments and evidence-based psychological interventions to children and young people (C/YP) with anxiety and/or depression within the AnDY Research Clinic. This would suit a newly qualified CWP or adult PWP with some experience of working with children and young people.

You will:

  • Have either a CYP IAPT accredited CWP qualification or equivalent (e.g., PG Cert in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions for C/YP) OR an adult Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) qualification plus relevant experience of working with children and young people.
  • Have worked in a mental health setting (e.g., CAMHS/IAPT).
  • Have experience of assessing and treating anxiety disorder and depression using low-intensity psychological interventions.
  • Have knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, including how anxiety and depression present at different stages of child development.
  • Have experience of using routine outcome measures.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Value research.
