This is a key role in a lively, research-active academic department within Henley Business School.  Primarily, you will work with the academics to provide high quality support to the research life of the department, but you will also have a role in supporting students undertaking research projects.  The role is very varied, ranging from identifying funding opportunities and assisting academics with grant applications to supporting events, collating data and disseminating research through our website.   You will work with a range of people within the university including academics, students, central research management and support teams.  You will also engage with external organisations who may be research partners or end users including policy makers.  

You will have:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and presentation)

- The ability to balance competing priorities and meet set deadlines

- Experience of providing advice to a range of stakeholders

- Experience of collating data or information for reports or other outputs

- The ability to resolve issues and queries independently
