Henley Business School is situated in 30 acres of beautiful countryside in the Chiltern Valley on the banks of the River Thames two miles from Henley on Thames. It provides management training for Postgraduates and Senior Executives from all around the world.
We deliver an exceptional service experience and our operational and support staff plays a significant part in delivering the Henley experience. Their contribution plays a major role in sustaining our quality reputation.
The Catering team produce and deliver high quality cuisine using fresh local seasonal produce for our daily menus, fine dining evenings, weddings and marquee events. Customer satisfaction is measured in a number of ways and we consistently achieve scores of 85% and above.
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated chef to join our team working at Henley Business School. The successful candidate would need to be passionate about food and be a good team player who is able to produce and deliver excellent results.
This role will involve working as part of a professional team meeting the needs of the Business School clients at Henley Business School. Our clients are largely middle and senior managers who are studying at the Business School. We cater to external organizations and individuals for conferences, weddings and various large events.
Own transport is essential due to our location.
You will have:
- Minimum qualification of NVQ level 2 Food preparation or equivalent
- A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to change
- The ability to prepare and cook fresh vegetables, salads and other produce, for clients, visitors and special functions, demonstrating individual flare along with a passion and desire for quality food
- The ability to work without supervision, on occasions, to produce client meals to meet high standards
- an eye for detail, this role requires great customer service along with an upbeat and positive attitude.
