Exciting opportunity to apply your excellent analytical skills in our leading Sustainability Services team to help manage, monitor and deliver sustained reductions in our energy use across our estate.  You previous energy experience will see you leading on the monitoring and reporting of our utilities consumption and carbon footprint, taking an integral role in energy, carbon and water saving projects to monitor and verify the savings delivered.

The post will work closely with the wider Sustainability Services and Estates teams on the delivery of University-wide initiatives to support the ongoing improvement of the University’s environmental performance.

You will have:

  • •    Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • •    Excellent Microsoft Excel and graphical presentation skills

  • •    Previous experience in either an analytical or an energy-related role

  • •    Experience of effectively presenting complex data to a range of audiences

  • •    Experience of energy management techniques for monitoring, measurement and verification

  • •    Experience of energy legislation including Display Energy Certificates

  • •    Knowledge of the ISO50001 energy management standard
