An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join the University’s Pensions Team (within the HR function) as a full time Pensions Assistant.  The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and will bring their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to this role, where the need to work accurately is combined with the ability to work as part of a team focussed on service delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of pension related administrative activities involving completion of online forms, carrying out various monthly processes for scheme joiners, leavers and contributions paid, providing information to scheme members and responding to queries from University staff and the external administrators.

You will have:

  • experience of working in a busy office environment
  • excellent attention to detail enabling you to work with a high level of accuracy
  • good interpersonal skills for customer care and team working
  • competent IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • the willingness and capability to learn

Previous pensions’ experience is not required (although some knowledge would be helpful) as on the job training will be provided.
