This is an exciting opportunity to take on the management of a new Clinical Training facility that brings together colleagues from the University of Reading and Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust. It is a full-time post supporting teaching and operational management of the facility that is situated within the wider UoR School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy clinical skills training area. The postholder will support colleagues with technical knowledge of equipment that is used within the space, and control and organise access to the space for University of Reading and Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust staff and students.

The postholder will be responsible for developing ways of working in this new clinical teaching facility that represents a ground-breaking collaboration between the university and the hospital and is located on the beautiful Whiteknights Campus. The role provides the opportunity to work with academic and NHS clinical professionals and undergraduate and postgraduate students.

You will have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject
  • Excellent knowledge of providing administrative leadership and the ability to provide technical support
  • Good organisational and teamworking skills, and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and to prioritise workload
