We are looking for 2 part-time Customer Enquiries Assistant to join Venue Reading team.
Venue Reading is the events, conferencing, and Hotel department within Whiteknights campus. The department generates income for the university from sales of university facilities and services outside of core activity.
Our portfolio is diverse and fluid and covers events from small meetings to Celebrations; exhibitions to concerts; private parties; in addition to conferencing and internal delivered catering. Venue Reading also manages a year round 36 bed Hotel and Conference centre, The Cedars.
The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, efficient service with a warm and friendly welcome to visitors to Venue Reading and our year round Hotel facility- The Cedars Hotel. The role is also required to take hotel and delivered catering bookings as well as providing administrative support to the Venue Reading team. The reception is open from 8am – 6:30pm and must be manned during these times. There will be a rota/shift pattern to accommodate these hours and handover periods.
You will have:
• Excellent Communication
• Skilled in customer relationship building
• Strong time management Skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with an acute eye for detail
• Use of reservation systems
• Reception or similar customer facing environment
