The School of Arts and Communication Design is seeking to appoint an administrator to join our vibrant community of staff and students. The successful candidate will provide high quality, professional administrative support to Reading School of Art and the Department of Film Theatre and Television. He/she/they will have responsibility for organising departmental level events and will develop a detailed knowledge of how both departments operate.
This is a great opportunity to develop your experience in supporting teaching and research within the Creative Arts.
You will have:
- Strong verbal and written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in being able to successfully build and develop relationships
- Experience in organising events and in customer service
-The ability to balance competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge of a range of IT packages and systems (incl. Microsoft Office)
The successful candidate is expected to make a significant contribution to the smooth operation of the School.
