Study Advice are seeking an analytical, confident and proactive individual to support our Home Foundation Year team. You will lead on the collection and analysis of engagement, attainment and progression data of our Home Foundation students. You will identify students at risk of not meeting their academic potential and make initial contact with them to organise timely referrals. You will analyse and prepare data for reports that contribute to institutional monitoring, planning, and quality assurance.

This job is based in the Library at our Whiteknights campus. The Library offers a friendly, dynamic working environment and is strongly committed to continuing professional development and staff training.

You will have:

  • A-level in a maths based subject or demonstrable experience of analysing data with an ability to identify patterns in data and competent in manipulating numbers
  • excellent interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with students, academics and professional services staff in a clear, compassionate and professional manner
  • understanding of issues affecting student engagement and academic success
  • excellent organisation skills and an ability to prioritise tasks and manage own time
  • a strong commitment to process development and improvement
  • experience of working in a student-facing, customer service, or advisory role
  • excellent written communication skills and evidence of collating and analysing data for reporting purposes.
