We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance on a Teaching Intensive track contract. The holder of this post will be involved with teaching modules in Finance at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with associated responsibilities in administration of modules and students. Expertise and/or experience with teaching in several of the following areas: Financial Economics, Financial Markets and Financial Stability, Programming in Finance, Sustainable Finance, Machine Learning and Textual Analysis, as well as ability to use Bloomberg and LSEG educational platforms for Finance and Business would be an advantage.
The Department of Finance and Accounting comprises two areas: Finance (The ICMA Centre) and Accountancy. The post-holder is expected to provide contributions in Finance. The appointee is expected to:
- Teach on some modules in the broad area of Finance in undergraduate and pre-experience master’s programmes as agreed by the Head of Department of Finance and Accounting; ability to use Bloomberg and LSEG educational platforms for teaching in Finance is required.
- Take on administrative duties and academic citizenship activities as well as academic leadership roles as appropriate;

- A PhD in Finance
- Experience with teaching at a HE institution in the UK in English
