We are seeking to appoint an experienced Academic Developer to join a thriving Academic Development and Enhancement team within our Centre for Quality Support and Development.
The successful applicant will have a key role in the development and delivery of our Academic Practice Programme for new staff who are involved in teaching and supporting learning. You will support the enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment across the University in line with the University’s Programme Principles. You will contribute to a range of new and established projects in partnership with academic schools, developing resources and designing and delivering educational and professional development opportunities, including for our branch campus in Malaysia and other international partners.
You will have :
- An in-depth understanding of pedagogical developments in HE at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including in relation to the implications of generative AI for teaching, assessment and feedback.
- A track record of designing, delivering and supporting effective and engaging professional development activities for the enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment in HE.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and the ability to work collaboratively across a number of different teams.
