This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a research collaboration between the University of Reading, the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust (RBFT), and Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (BHFT). The Research Assistant will be an integral member of the project team, supporting the successful delivery of research activities from start to finish. The project focuses on capturing data on wellbeing, mental health, and other psychological outcomes following the introduction of closed-loop insulin pump systems in people living with type 1 diabetes.
You will have
- Degree in Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related discipline or relevant experience in a health care setting
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of how to collect psychological data such as wellbeing and mental health
- Experience in research data collection and management
- Familiarity with participant recruitment and handling sensitive data
