What we're looking for
We’re seeking a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in building and property data management. You’ll be confident leading cross-functional teams and managing complex systems integrations, with a strong understanding of platforms such as CAFM, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Power BI. You’ll be a natural collaborator, able to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders, and bring forward innovative solutions that support the University’s long-term goals.

About the role
As Head of Building and Property Information Management, you will:
- Lead the management of building and property information, ensuring data and drawings are accurate, consistent, and complete throughout their lifecycle.
- Define and communicate data requirements across Estates and wider stakeholders.
- Build robust relationships with internal teams and external agencies to maximise the potential of data integration across platforms and organisations.
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of Space, Land, and Property, delivering unified and accessible reports that support strategic decision-making.
- Manage the interface between CAFM and other systems including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Power BI.
- Oversee the upkeep of the University’s technical drawings, managing internal and external CAD resources.
- Manage the interface between CAFM, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Power BI, ensuring seamless data integration and reporting.
About you
You will have:
- Proven experience in managing building and property data within a complex organisation.
- Strong technical knowledge of platforms like AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Power BI together with an understanding of how they integrate with CAFM systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in developing policies and processes that ensure data integrity and quality.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop specialist teams.
- A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in data and drawing management.
