We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance for maternity cover on a fixed term one year contract. The holder of this post will be involved with teaching in modules in Finance at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with associated responsibilities in administration of modules and students. Expertise and/or experience with teaching in Financial Economics, Financial Markets and Financial Stability would be an advantage.
The Department of Finance and Accounting comprises two areas: Finance (The ICMA Centre) and Accountancy. The post-holder is expected to provide contributions in Finance. The appointee is expected to:
- Teach on some modules in the broad area of Finance in undergraduate and pre-experience master’s programmes as agreed by the Head of Department of Finance and Accounting; ability to teach Financial Economics and Financial Markets topics is required and experience with Blackboard would be a great advantage but not essential.
- Take on administrative duties and academic citizenship activities as well as academic leadership roles as appropriate.

- Experience with teaching at University level in English
