The University of Reading’s Examination and Graduation Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Graduation Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are passionate about the student and staff experience and who wish to utilise their skills and expertise to drive improvements across University Graduation events. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in decision making, influencing and team management.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until mid January 2027.
You will have:
- Relevant work experience and/or education: We think a wide range of different work and educational experiences could support you to be successful in this role. Relevant work experience might include work in student support services or leading projects or examination teams. Relevant educational experiences might include higher education in a related discipline, professional qualifications, or other training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and distribute information clearly
- Ability to build and engage with internal and external networks that support your role (e.g. professional membership, other HE institutions)
- Ability to manage the workload of yourself and your team in a fast-changing environment and meet challenging deadlines
- Ability to identify operational areas of improvement, propose and implement solutions, in co-ordination with others.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to support decision making, or for inclusion in reports
- Ability to work with others to deliver strategic objectives across Education & Students and overcome challenges
