This role is based within our Office at the University’s beautiful Whiteknights Campus. The successful candidate will be supporting People Development, add value to the overall level of service provided by the team, support with a wide range of activities and be the first point of contact for our internal and external customers.

This 1 year fixed term maternity cover role will play an important part in supporting our programme of apprenticeships for colleagues, including career development and new starter apprenticeships, and supporting our programme of wider development offerings.

The role involves managing relationships with external training providers, being the point of contact for apprentices and their line managers as well as supporting the delivery of other programmes of development across the year.

For this role, you will have/be:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively on multiple activities and prioritise workload.
  • A high degree of computer literacy.
  • An awareness of apprenticeships and the promotion of learning provision to meet organisational resourcing, succession, and development needs.
  • Strong administrative experience in a role managing and coordinating activities.

The role will be expected to work a minimum of 3 full days in the office per week with the option of additional days in the office if preferred.

For the training period the successful candidate will be required to work in the office, duration to be agreed.
