Are you a reliable, self-motivated and team-orientated person, with good interpersonal and communication skills? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our team and help us provide an efficient and welcoming enquiry service to our users in this busy section of the Library.
You will also undertake clerical duties as well as regular shelving and stock handling duties.
Experience of library work, including dealing directly with library users, would be an advantage.
You will have:
- A good general education to GCSE standard or equivalent (including English and Maths)
- Experience of customer service work providing services directly to customers
- Good interpersonal skills for customer care and team working
- Good basic IT skills
- The ability to cope with the physical demands of the job (pushing trolleys, carrying books etc)
