Job Description

The Museum of English Rural Life (The MERL) is seeking an enthusiastic, versatile museum learning specialist to join a vibrant learning and engagement team. You will help to deliver schools and family focused programmes and develop our collaborative activities with our Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation partner, Reading Museum.

A DBS check is required for this position.

You will have:

⦁ Confident communication and presentation skills
⦁ Relevant experience in museums, libraries or archives
⦁ A good understanding of methods of data collection and evaluation
⦁ Good team working skills
