Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of an energetic team dealing with student exams.  The Exams Team is responsible for setting up and running University exams and ensuring that student results are correctly calculated and published, as well as supporting staff and students with exam processes and queries.

Role purpose

You will support the management of exam activities with a particular focus on updating records and facilitating the running of exams for students who require reasonable adjustments to be made.  This includes liaison with the Disability Advisory Service to ensure that students’ needs are fully understood so they are offered appropriate arrangements for their exams.  You will also contribute to the processing of results and entry of data onto the student record system.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is confident working with large datasets and systems.  You must be willing to help across the office at peak times and be comfortable dealing with queries from staff and students via email and phone, therefore a professional manner is essential.

You will have:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience of using databases to collate large sets of information
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to work flexibly to prioritise work in the office
