Job Description

The role is responsible for the receipt and posting of the University’s payments and income.  Tasks include:


  • Payment reconciliation
  • Monitoring shared email boxes
  • Allocating payments received to correct accounts
  • Dealing with the emailed queries or forwarding to relevant department
  • Preparing refunds
  • Taking telephone payments from students
  • Assisting with queries


You will have:


  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Accuracy
  • Ability to communicate at different levels
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of basic accounting
  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Ability to quickly learn systems
  • Highly motivated, organised and efficient
  • Self starter
  • Good team player
  • Good GCSEs or equivalent
