Job Description
The role is responsible for the receipt and posting of the University’s payments and income. Tasks include:
- Payment reconciliation
- Monitoring shared email boxes
- Allocating payments received to correct accounts
- Dealing with the emailed queries or forwarding to relevant department
- Preparing refunds
- Taking telephone payments from students
- Assisting with queries
You will have:
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Accuracy
- Ability to communicate at different levels
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of basic accounting
- Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Ability to quickly learn systems
- Highly motivated, organised and efficient
- Self starter
- Good team player
- Good GCSEs or equivalent
