Working with Programme Directors, members of faculty  and other professional services staff within  Henley Business School and the wider University, this post supports the delivery of an extensive portfolio of programmes delivered at Henely Business School . This post is expected to be agile working across the Pre-Experience Post-Graduate, Post-Experience and Undergraduate programme areas, depended on the greatest need to support growth areas of student recruitment. This role supports the consistent and integrated delivery of programmes ensuring high levels of customer service and a high quality experience for Henley students.


The precise balance of activities will be agreed with the line manager and may vary from time to time and over the course of a career. This position must be flexible and will be required to move between teams and different programme areas to support business growth areas as and when necessary. It is essential the post-holder has an agile mindset and is willing to move between different programme areas.  

You will have :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Confidence in being able to successfully build and develop professional relationships with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven IT skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint to at least intermediate level
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills to ensure prioritisation and completion of multiple tasks
  • Ability to use personal  initiative and take proactive actions to resolve problems
  • Motivated to learn and be involved in new areas of work with an agile mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of setting up and maintaining  effective administrative systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of current customer management practice
  • A strong administrative background
  • Experience of working with IT systems
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role and evidence of providing a high quality service
  • Significant experience in working with minimal supervision
  • Experience of building effective relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Agile mindset and willingness to switch to different Programme areas at short notice to meet business need
  • Willingness to work across both campuses
  • Pro-active, and flexible approach
  • Patient, courteous, friendly and welcoming manner
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours to cover events (including weekend and some evenings)
