Job Description

Sitting within the Engagement, Employability and Entrepreneurship team at Henley Business School, this role plays a keep part in securing donations from our Corporate and Individual donors, with a focus on supporting Reading Real Estate Foundation (RREF).

The postholder will be responsible for developing and maintaining external relationships that enable us to secure our fundraising targets, whilst working across the team to create and implement fundraising engagement activities.

Working closely with the Director of Engagement, Employability & Entrepreneurship, the successful candidate will be an ambitious, self-motivated, team player, with excellent relationship building skills.

You will have :

  • Experience in fundraising, business development, or a similar results-driven, external-facing environment.
  • Experience of working with and influencing senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with highly successful individuals across a wide range of business sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within tight deadlines
