Job Description

Henley Business School, part of the University of Reading, is looking to appoint a Press Officer (temporary cover) to join our press office, part of Henley’s talented and award-winning marketing department. Based at our Reading campus, one of Britain’s top green spaces, we offer excellent benefits and offer one or two days per week working from home.

About You

You will be an excellent communicator, with the skills to write and pitch great features and news stories; manage media requests and interviews; oversee our internal communications and support day-to-day work on our digital and social media campaigns.

You will be highly motivated, creative and proactive. You will work with energy and confidence and be buzzing with ideas able to influence and drive our work. You must be able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment, able to spot opportunities early to stay ahead of our competitors.

You will be able to build and maintain strong networks of internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to draw on your experience in journalism, PR or media relations to help build Henley’s profile and showcase our expertise.
